It. was. amazing.
I enjoyed every minute of it, but of course the speech therapy scenes were of particular interest. One doctor attempts to cure Albert's stuttering by having him talk with marbles in his mouth (a treatment Demosthenes, an ancient Greek, used to "cure" his stuttering). Lionel Logue (his speech therapist played by Geoffrey Rush) uses a record player to record his speech during a session. It's amazing to think that nowadays I use an iTouch to do the same thing.
Go see it! Seriously!

I liked it a lot and I don't know much about speech therapy! :)
What song does he play on the record player
Logue has him listen to Mozart via headphones while reciting Shakespeare into a microphone. The record only has his voice on it. It's amazing to think of the progress made in recording technology. While I was in grad school we used tape recorders and even with the very expensive machines the quality wasn't always great. I use the Voice Memo app that comes with the iPod Touch to collect samples now.
